OLD-FASHIONED CHRISTMAS IN THE WOODS FESTIVAL 2024

This October is Old-Fashioned Christmas in the Woods’ 25th year of hosting attendees from across the country at Shaker Woods in Columbiana, Ohio. More than 200 quality craftspeople and artisans will gather at the festival on October 12-13 and 19-20, 2024.
 
In a manicured, wooded setting, juried costumed crafters will have their booths decorated in an old-fashioned holiday theme. The exhibitors will demonstrate their crafts and sell a wide selection of handmade holiday items, as well as traditional crafts. The level grounds feature gravel footpaths for easy walking and access to acres of free parking. Traditional crafters include candle makers, leatherworkers, woodworkers and doll makers. Hand-thrown pottery and iron and stone work will also be available. Holiday craft items, decorations and handcrafted Christmas ornaments are featured at the festival, in addition to holiday clothing, wreaths and floral arrangements.
 
A delicious selection of food—from made-daily donuts and mouth-watering cobbler to freshly cut french fries and homemade bean soup—is sure to please most appetites.

178th Canfield Fair

The Canfield Fair is the largest county fair in the State of Ohio and the 3rd largest county fair in the United States. The Canfield Fair was established in 1846. The Rooster and tag line “Something to Crow About” have been the trademark of the Fair since 1962.
The Canfield Fair is run and operated by the Mahoning County Agricultural Society and has a Board of 17 Directors. The fairgrounds sits on 353 acres of land and more than 60 buildings, including a grandstand that holds approximately 6,200 people. Visit us at the under the Grandstand Booth #85.

Cincy Soul: The Black Taste, is a collaborative effort of black owned restaurants, caterers, and food trucks within the Greater Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky area. It is coordinated by volunteer leaders within the African American community to unite, cultivate, foster, educate, and Highlight African American Entreprenuership, while celebrating the Black Experience Through Culinary Excellence
